Andy brings several years of mixed-methods research and evaluation experience from the human service and public health fields to his role as Senior Research Associate at Lexicon & Line.

In his role, Andy provides subject matter expertise, conducts data analysis and visualizations, and designs reports and presentations. Andy strives to transform data into easy-to-digest insights for stakeholders. By weaving together findings from qualitative and quantitative data, he aims to tell compelling stories that inform decision-making and inspire action. Andy’s areas of interest span violence prevention, racial and LGBTQ+ health disparities, substance abuse prevention, and initiatives that enhance implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in organizations.

During his personal time in Buffalo, Andy finds joy in cooking, exploring new cafes and restaurants, nurturing his creative writing, and embracing the role of a cat dad.

With a background in consumer-behavior, clinical, developmental, social, health, and educational psychologies, Julia has conducted research in both corporate and academic sectors. She has served market research organizations, conducted UX research for application startups, and worked as a project manager for labs at Brown University, University of Virginia, and Binghamton University; overseeing internal studies, attending national conferences, and leading journal publications. Her research background has informed other practical services she has performed, including writing for Psychology Today and health education organizations, mental health coaching and crisis counseling, lecturing at Binghamton University, as well as psychology and health curriculum creation for both domestic and international K-12 schools. 

Julia has earned a BA in Psychology and Education from Binghamton University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and with President’s Honors from the University’s Scholars (Honors) Program.

In her free time, Julia is a voice actor, enthusiastic home cook, and puzzle lover. She loves to play sports with her friends in Buffalo, NY and spend time with her partner and their 2 adorable cats.
